Last week, a voluntary recall for Costco’s freeze-dried fruit was initiated after it was found that their product was possibly contaminated with salmonella; particularly in California Costco stores.  They offered a full refund for their product, and have pulled it off of their shelves.  Salmonella is an organism that causes serious infections in children, elderly, and adults with weak immune systems.  Some symptoms include fever, diarrhea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.  The effects in children and the elderly can result in death.

If you or a family member has been injured by this defective product, you might require the help of a product liability lawyer.  It is a wholesaler’s responsibility to sell safe products to our customers.  No reports have yet been filed to the U.S. Food and Drug Association; however, this does not prove that a California citizen has not consumed the contaminated food product.  At Estey & Bomberger, we allow people who have been injured to seek financial compensation as a result of dangerous produce.  It is our civil responsibility to hold companies that sell dangerous produce accountable, and we can help you in your case.

If you call us to handle your case, you only pay us if we recover money on your behalf.  Call to get a free consultation at (800) 925-0723 or via email at info@Estey-Bomberger.com
